As an all-new SUV with tremendous off-road capabilities, the 2021 Ford Bronco makes a stunning debut in North America. Sold with four or two removable doors, this durable vehicle offers a seven-model lineup. A compact crossover SUV with a lightweight mechanical platform, the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer comes in up to five editions.

Powertrain

The 2021 Ford Bronco harnesses 270 net horsepower from the 2.3 L EcoBoost engine. Consisting of four cylinders, the Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection powertrain delivers 310 pound-feet of torque. Generating a compression ratio of 10:1, the I-4 engine includes the Ti-VCT valvetrain. Also built on the EcoBoost and GTDI platforms, a 2.7 L engine is optional for this all-new Ford SUV. The maximum ratings of the V6 turbo engine are 310 hp and 400 lb-ft. Rated at 155 hp and 174 lb-ft, the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer’s 1.3 L ECOTEC engine stands no chance against the EcoBoost engines. As expected, the 1.2 L ECOTEC engine has lower ratings than the 1.3 L version. The Ford Bronco at Ford Crestview boasts a towing capacity of up to 3,500 pounds. In stunning contrast, the 2021 Trailblazer has a towing rating that’s 2,500 pounds lower.

Handling

When fitted with 35-inch tires, the 2021 Bronco attains a best-in-class ground clearance of up to 11.6 inches. A high-clearance suspension system is also available for this all-new Ford SUV. Thanks to a 33.5-inch water-fording rating, this versatile model is suitable for some of the most extreme off-road adventures in North America. With easy access to the Terrain Management System, you can conquer rugged landscapes with plenty of reassurance. All trims come standard with five driving modes, including the Sand and Slippery. If you upgrade to the Badlands model, you will have the Rock Crawl and Mud/Ruts modes at your fingertips. The Ford Bronco at Ford Crestview also flaunts the Trail Control, which manages the throttle, braking system and other mechanical hardware for superb off-road handling. Making turns on unpaved paths should be simple with help from the Trail Turn Assist. Ford Crestview is also excited to promote the 2021 Bronco’s Trail One-Pedal Drive, which makes it possible to handle the vehicle without engaging the brake pedal. Additionally, this robust Ford SUV has the Advanced 4×4 drive, which is enhanced by the Automatic On-Demand Engagement. Featuring only three selectable drive modes, the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer’s all-wheel drive is no match for the Bronco’s class-leading drivetrain. When driving this all-new Ford SUV, you can select 10 different gear ratios from an automatic transmission. Select trims offer a manual gearbox with a total of seven speeds. Some of the Trailblazer editions have a nine-speed auto transmission with electronic controls.

Amenities

The 2021 Ford Bronco offers exterior side mirrors with a cowl-mounted design for optimum visibility. If you want to enjoy an open-air ride, simply remove the car’s doors and rooftop. You may buy this all-new SUV with a modular hardtop or classic soft top for the ultimate versatility on the road. The Ford Bronco at Ford Crestview also has rock rails and bash plates that protect the chassis from major damage. Two front tow hooks and a single rear tow hook give you plenty of options for enjoying off-road trips. Ford Crestview also advertises the 2021 Bronco’s innovative interior features, like the rubber floors that can be easily washed. Featuring marine-grade composition, these elastic vinyl floors come with multiple drains. If the outdoor conditions are too extreme, close the rooftop and turn on the Dual-Zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control. Additionally, this all-new Ford model offers heating for the leather-appointed front seating and steering wheel. Despite having roof rails, a panoramic sunroof and all-weather floor mats, the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer simply can’t compete with the Bronco in terms of utility.
